Justin is an Australian Catholic layman, writer, and teacher who founded Metanoia Faith out of a deep conviction that the ordinary Catholic is capable of far more than the contemporary Church often expects of them — and that the formation resources to equip them have largely been absent from parish life.
His journey into this work was not dramatic. It was, like most genuine vocations, gradual: a series of encounters with Scripture, tradition, and the living God that deepened his hunger for the fullness of the faith and his awareness of how much had been lost from the ordinary Catholic experience. He is not a theologian by academic formation, but he is a serious student of the Church's tradition, formed by years of reading, prayer, and pastoral engagement with those who are searching.
Metanoia Faith is his attempt to place what he has received into the hands of others — not as an authority, but as a fellow pilgrim who has found, in the Catholic tradition, resources adequate to the crises of our age.

The founding of this apostolate was not a business decision. It was a response to a series of converging spiritual realities that became impossible to ignore:
A deepening encounter with the reality of spiritual warfare — and the recognition that most Catholics are entirely unprepared for it.
A hunger for the fullness of the faith: not the reduced, presentable version but the full, demanding, glorious reality of what the Church actually teaches and offers.
A growing conviction that the Church's healing and deliverance ministry — almost entirely absent from ordinary parish life — is urgently needed and largely forgotten.
An encounter with the prophetic saints whose courage and clarity in the face of the crises of their own ages offered a model for ours.
The recognition that formation — not better communication, not more content — is what the present moment demands of the faithful.

Background & Formation
Justin was baptised as an infant and raised in a practising Catholic family, but like many of his generation, drifted from the faith in young adulthood before experiencing a deep re-encounter with Christ in his early thirties. That re-encounter was not through a programme or a parish mission — it was through Scripture, read with fresh eyes, and the writings of the saints.
His formation has been largely self-directed: years of immersion in the Catechism, the writings of the Church Fathers and Doctors, contemporary Catholic theology, and the tradition of spiritual warfare and healing that runs through the Church's history from the desert fathers to the present day. He has been formed by the sacramental life of the Church — Mass, Confession, Adoration — and by the hard lessons of a life that has not been without its own wounds and deliverances.
He does not present himself as an expert but as a witness — someone who has found in the Catholic faith a complete and adequate response to every question the modern world raises, and who cannot remain silent about it.
The Genesis
Why This Apostolate Exists
Metanoia Faith exists because ordinary Catholics are capable of extraordinary holiness — and the formation resources that would equip them for it are rarely available in the ordinary parish context. Not because parishes are failing, but because the scale of the challenge — the cultural collapse, the spiritual confusion, the generational wound of poor catechesis — is greater than any single parish can address.
There is also a specific gap that this apostolate addresses: the integration of the Church's charismatic and prophetic heritage with her doctrinal and sacramental tradition. Many Catholics with a hunger for the supernatural have found themselves drawn toward movements that lack theological grounding. Many Catholics with strong doctrinal formation have been suspicious of anything that sounds charismatic. Metanoia Faith exists in that gap — insisting that you cannot have one without the other.
The name says it all. Metanoia is not a mild adjustment. It is a complete reorientation — of mind, will, desire, and imagination — toward God. That is what this age demands. And it is what Christ makes possible.

A Message From Justin
If you have found your way to this page, you are probably someone who knows there is more — more to the faith than you have experienced, more to the spiritual life than you have been taught, more to what it means to be a Catholic in the twenty-first century than survival and respectability. I understand that hunger. It drove me to everything I have learned and to everything I am still learning.
What I can offer is not comprehensive. I am not a bishop, not an academic theologian, not a professional religious. I am a layman who has spent years in the library, the chapel, the confessional, and the prayer room, and who has found in the Catholic tradition a depth and power that the wider world has no idea exists. Metanoia Faith is my attempt to share that discovery — one reflection, one teaching, one conversation at a time. I am grateful you are here. Come deeper.
